Digital tachograph download equipment

So now you have your new digital tachograph and associated driver and company cards, what now?

Regular downloads from both the driver card and the vehicle unit must be made in order to comply with legislation and to enable you to "see" the information contained within each memory. Remember that the driver card has a memory of about 28 days whilst the vehicle unit stores 365 days. Legislation requires downloads of driver cards at least every 28 days and vehicle units at least every 56 days. We strongly recommend a regular pattern of downloading to avoid losing any information.

Simple solutions are available to help you keep within the law and we have five different solutions to meet your varying needs.                 

	Simple solution Digi-Driver  £180.00     This is our entry level solution and is designed for the owner driver or very small fleet operating from one site. The kit comprises of a Download key and three digital tachograph rolls with storage box.
	Simple solution Digi-Compact  £435.00 TheDigi- Compact Solution is our second entry level product it comprises of a special download key with the added benefit of software which allows you to visualise  and archive your data on your own computer. An overview of driving, work and rest times can be obtained with speed values for the last 24hours also being available. It should be noted that this system does not provide hours law analysis.
	Simple solution Digi-Fleet  £275.00                             The next level caters for the small, medium and large fleet which may operate from a single or multiple sites. The kit comprises of one download key, one chip card reader and an account on our web based analysis service. (Please note that it is recommended that each site has access to a download key and driver card reader).
	Simple solution Digi-Mobile  £295.00 Offering maximum convenience and ease of use, the Downloadkey II has 2 interfaces: on one side there is a 6 pin serial interface, which is compatible with all digital Tachographs, and on the other side it features a USB 2.0 high-speed interface for transferring data quickly and reliably to a PC. The addition of a battery or mains operated chip card reader combines with the downloadkey to give flexible driver card downloading ability without the need to be linked to a PC. The downloaded data can be transferred to your analysis and archive system at anytime once the download is complete.
	Simple solution Digi-Logue £475.00                          The top level combines all that is needed for the Digital tachograph download (Simple solution Digi-Fleet) with an analogue chart reader that connects to the same analysis service and provides full driver's hours infringement reporting.

All of the above systems will need access to a computer.  Minimum PC spec is shown below, 1 & 2 for Digi-Driver 1,2,3,4 & 5 for Digi-Fleet & Digi-Logue:

1. P166Mhz, 32 Mb RAM, Monitor capable of 800 * 600 resolution, available USB socket and CD drive.

2. Windows 95, 98, Millennium, NT 4, Win 2000, Win XP

3. Microsoft Internet Explorer V5 or better with security settings which must allow the loading of cookies and Active-x components

4. A Modem - Minimum 28.8 Kb, recommended 56.6Kb

5. A contract with an Internet Service Provider (ISP)
